Bamboo Bottle Review

When it comes to being "eco-friendly" I consider myself on my way, which means I am not quite where I want to be in the green living department. I would love to say I never use plastic water bottles or that I always have my reusable grocery bags but the truth is I do use those things and I feel guilty for it. My memory is horrible so I often forget to grab the reusable bags and I also tend to just grab a bottle of water. It really does bother me about the bottle water. I have tried some of those aluminum bottles but they made my water taste metallic. Then I tried the reusable plastic bottles but I didn't feel like they were very clean. So to figure out a solution I turned to the internet.

Imagine my surprise to find the Bamboo Bottle Company. No it's not a bottle made of bamboo. It is glass inside with bamboo surrounding around it. The bottom and top are made from BPA-free plastic. The bamboo used is grown to it's maximum potential at 90 feet in 9months, the glass bottle is made of 51% recycled glass, and the plastic is completely recyclable. The entire bottle is recyclable. I like that the bamboo bottle is easy to use and especially easy to clean. The bottle can be completely taken apart to clean the entire bottle with no problem. And the biggest issue of weird tasting water was gone because you're using glass, instead of aluminum or plastic, it makes a big difference in there not being any odd flavor in the water. Another great feature is since the bottle is glass you can put hot drinks in it. The only thing with the Bamboo Bottle is the weight, it's not exactly light but it's not super heavy either, but since it is a glass bottle there is going to be some weight to it. Overall, the Bamboo Bottle is awesome, plain and simple, there is no better reusable bottle around!

If for some reason you break the glass or would just like another glass insert they are available on the website. You can visit the website to learn more about the bamboo bottle or to order a bamboo bottle. You can also find Bamboo Bottle Company on Facebook and also on Twitter.
