Skoy Cloths Review & Giveaway
I received the Skoy Cloths thinking that they would work like a towel. They are better then a towel! The Skoy Cloths work like a paper towel, a wash cloth and a regular towel all in one. They are extremely absorbent, they can scrub some things off my dining table and they wring out the fluids they soak up very easily. I have enjoyed using them immensely as well as my children. My thirteen year old son used one on dishes before they went into the dish washer and my eleven year old daughter enjoyed going around "finding" spills to clean up, which I think most of the spills were on purpose. If a product can get my children to clean I am all for it!
The Skoy cloths come in different designs and colors. For me I don't care as much about how it looks as long as it works then it's good enough for me. I do like how fast the cloths dry, this is to minimize bacteria. They are 100% biodegradable and are made with cotton and a wood-based cellulose pulp. The Skoy cloths can last months, which can save you a lot of money on paper towels!
Skoy is easy to use and really easy to take care of. You just wet the cloth before use and make sure to wring out the excess liquid for the best absorption. To clean your Skoy cloth you can put it in the dishwasher, I'd recommend top rack, and it is washer and dryer safe. Another way to keep them germ-free is to put them in the microwave when the cloth is wet, for 1-2 minutes. Beware the cloth will be hot afterwards!
You can purchase Skoy cloths online, as well as find them at the The Container Store in the beginning of 2012, you can also help by requesting them at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Whole Foods. Skoy can be found in Canada also, they are available at London Drugs. Skoy also offers School Fundraising!
Skoy has been kind enough to offer one of my readers a pack of Skoy cloths, that's 4 cloths! Just enter below in the Rafflecopter. This giveaway is open to US and Canada only.
