Delicious Ice Cream Brownie Dessert Recipe #sfsmarties #CBias

I am so excited to share with you my recipe that I was asked to come up with as part of my Smart & Final #sfsmarties Shoppertunity. I already had a couple of ideas of what I wanted to make but at the last minute I decided on making something that was easy to make and delicious. This is my experience shopping and making my First Street Ice Cream Brownie Dessert recipe.
I arrived at my local Smart & Final ready to shop! I knew all the ingredients I would need for recipe because I came up with the idea of making the First Street Ice Cream Brownie Dessert. I went straight to the ice cream section and grabbed the First Street Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
I then headed to pick up a package of Oreo cookies. There were so many other great cookie but I had my heart set on these.
I continued my shopping and grabbed the First Street Whipped Topping and Hershey's Hot Fudge.

As I was walking past the ice cream section again I decided I would grab a box of First Street Fudge Bars for my kids. It's getting hot here and these are a great treat.
I made my purchases and headed home to start making my new recipe. Here is what you will need to make the First Street Ice Cream Brownie Dessert.
  • 1 Box of Family Size Brownie Mix (use a brand you prefer)
  • 1 1.5 Quart of First Street Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (or regular vanilla)
  • 1 Topping of Your Choice, Oreos, Peanuts, Heath Bar, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups or Gummy Worms. There are endless options for this.
  • 1 Can of First Street Whipped Topping
  • 1 Jar of Hot Fudge, I prefer Hershey's or Smuckers
First step is to make your brownies:
Bake as directed and let the brownies cool down to room temperature. While brownies are cooling you can pull the ice cream out to soften.
Once both are ready take spoonfuls of the ice cream out and spread on top of the brownies:
Completely cover the brownies and then freeze. I froze mine over night but I think 2 hours could be sufficient, make sure to keep the pan on a flat surface while freezing.
Before bringing the dessert out to serve have your topping ready. Since I chose Oreo's I brought mine out to crush:
When you are ready to serve your First Street Ice Cream Brownie Dessert I would recommend a sharp knife to cut through both layers:
When you have placed a piece of the dessert on a plate or bowl use the First Street Whipped Topping. Add a nice fluff of the whipped topping:
Then take the topping of your choice and add:
It's looking good but it needs one finishing touch to make it a little more special. Heat your hot fudge as directed on the jar. Then take the hot fudge and drizzle it all over the dessert:
Now you are ready to serve your wonderful First Street Ice Cream Brownie Dessert!
If you having family and friends over I would suggest offering different toppings, as well as offering a caramel or butterscotch topping along with the hot fudge. There are so many combinations that go well with the base of this dessert. That's exactly what I wanted when I was thinking of something to make. I hope you will enjoy this great First Street Ice Cream Brownie Dessert as much as we did. As you can see here it was a great hit!
