My Friend Bernard Movie Review

I recently had a family movie night, which we try to do at least once a month. This month our movie night was sponsored by Collective Bias and #CouchCritics. We were asked to watch the new movie, My Friend Bernard, which can be rented from most Redbox kiosks. You can also reserve the movie online at Redbox.com to guarantee that you will get it and it's convenient.

Before we could have movie night we had to pick up a few things at Walmart, as well as rent the movie. You can see our entire shopping experience here. I had to grab my caramel popcorn and some fudge brownies Goldfish. I figure polar bears would like either one and so would a little boy.
Once we picked up the few things we needed we headed home to make some snacks that any polar bear would love!
My daughter Olivia thought she would have fun making fish jump in and out of her sandwich! This is one of the few times I allow them to play with their food.

We also had some Planters Honey Roasted Cashews, we thought nuts are easy to carry and great for energy while being on an adventure.
We also had Klondike Oreo bars for dessert, they went great with our movie since there is a polar bear right on the front!
Once we had eaten most of our snacks, just like any bear would, we started watching My Friend Bernard.
As much as I would love to tell you about the entire movie, I can't, but I will tell you a couple of things. My Friend Bernard is rated PG and is 70 minutes long. The main characters are Sam, the little boy, Bernard, the polar bear and two penguins Lloyd and Eva. Sam is a very timid and shy little boy but his world changes once he meets Bernard, Lloyd and Eva. They go on an adventure that has a few twists and turns that keep you watching and wondering how things will end.

For those that may want to know this entire movie is narrated and although I enjoyed this movie, it seems more for older toddlers up to maybe age 6. That is completely my own opinion though. For those interested in Redbox you can follow Redbox on Facebook and Twitter.
