  8. My favorite memory is helping my mother break up the bread for the dressing. It was always special to get to help. I do the same with my grandaughters today.

  9. My favorite Thanksgiving memory was when I was a child and we would have Thanksgiving dinner with my Grandma and Grandpa. My mother was the oldest of 12 children so her younger siblings were with us. What a great time and the food was absolutely delicious. Every Thanksgiving I think about Grandmas homemade rhubarb and mince meat pies. But the most memorable Thanksgiving was when the dog got the turkey and we had to cook hamburgers for Thanksgiving dinner. I thought Grandma and Mom was going to kill my dog so I hurried outside with it and hid it. I still laugh about that day.

  10. One year my grandmother came out from Missouri for Thanksgiving to visit. My brother was only a year old. We were all gathered around the table eating our Thanksgiving dinner and it started to snow!We live in Washington state-doesnt snow much on Thanksgiving. It was a visit that none of us will ever forget.

  11. Being pregnant with my son is my favorite memory. I don't like cranberry sauce but I enjoyed eating it while being pregnant. It was weird.

  15. As a family, we'd travel to NJ for Thanksgiving to be with my great-grandfather, uncles, cousins, and friends. There'd be so many people in the house, but it sure was a lot of fun! Always reminded me of that Norman Rockwell painting. Sweet memories.

  16. I remember Thanksgiving 1991, when I was pregnant with my son. He was due on Christmas day..... but he decided he wanted to come into the world 2 days before Thanksgiving. I spent Thanksgiving day in the hospital,,,, away from most of my family, but it was soooo worth it!!!!!!
