The Yonanas Machine doesn't take up too much space, it's smaller than your average blender. I decided to try the Simply Yonanas (Banana Ice Cream) recipe. All you need is two over ripe bananas, peel them and then freeze them for at least 24 hours. When you are ready to make your banana ice cream, take the bananas out about 5 minutes before. Add one banana at a time, then enjoy!!
This is my bowl of Simply Yonanas along with the Yonanas Machine. It was very easy to put the bananas in and to push them down. The banana ice cream is the consistency of a soft serve.
This is a close up of the Strawberry-Banana Ice Cream. It was a little sweeter. I am just happy that I will be able to enjoy dessert without all the guilt. The Yonanas comes with a recipe booklet filled with so many different types of recipes. There is even recipes to make pie! There are also recipes on the Yonanas website. This is truly a wonderful product! I cannot wait to create more desserts and experiment with different fruits.

I love ours! My 11 year old puts a new concoction together almost daily - our banana consumption is a little ridiculous now lol, everyone can't wait for them to brown :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean I am now going to be buying bananas and hiding them so they can brown! My 9yr old is excited to make new things as well. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment :)
DeleteJust wanted to share! I asked at my grocery store if they had any spotted bananas to sell for cheap. Both times I was able to get large bunches of ripened bananas for 99C or $1.00! I then come home and freeze them. I LOVE my Yonanas machine.
ReplyDeleteThanks Patti! I never thought of asking the grocery store! That's great I will definitely ask on my next grocery trip :)
