Why I went M.I.A. for a little bit...

I just wanted to say sorry for going missing last week and some of the weekend. We had some family things going on. One being that my husband and I had split up for awhile and we thought for sure we were going to be divorcing. After many, many texts and phone calls we decided we couldn't give up. It's going to take some time and counseling but I look forward to growing old together. So we had a week away with family and at my Mother-in-law's home, where there is no computer, no internet, no cable TV, and my 3G on my smartphone was there one second and gone the next. So I was limited on any blog/Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest/etc., this was a first for me! Honestly though it was nice to get away from technology. I highly recommend it for your marriage and your kids, even just a weekend is nice.
So we are celebrating my oldest daughter, Kaylen's 13th birthday tomorrow and I just cannot believe I will have a teenage daughter now! My bonus-son Anthony will graduate next week from high school. This will be an emotional month that's for sure! Well I appreciate you all sticking around and making One Mom's Moxie a success. Don't forget you can always search for giveaways in the Search My Blog section. Have a wonderful week!!

    1. Thank you so much Tracey. It was actually very difficult the first couple days, I stressed about the blog, and my emails but then realized my marriage and family are much more important! I can't wait to share some fun photos from this month! :)

  2. That is such great news that you and your husband have decided that you couldn't give up on your marriage and decided to invest the time and energy into working on your issues in order to grow old together. That is amazing when you can make it work, and I'm glad you both decided that it what was best for you.

Happy Birthday to your daughter, and congratulations to your "bonus son" on the graduation. You definitely have a lot to celebrate!
