Every parent wants to have a loving, supportive and close relationship with their child, but that doesn't always happen naturally. If you are looking to strengthen or repair your relationship with your child or children then I urge you to pick up a copy of the book, The Love Dare for Parents, written by Stephen Kendrick and Alex Kendrick. The book is filled with 40 days worth of "challenging" dares to encourage the parent or parents to spend quality time with their child/children, as well as many other positive ideas and messages to incorporate into your family life. The Love Dare for Parents was designed to “turn the hearts of parents to their children and turn the hearts of children to their parents” (Malachi 4:6). Each book also includes a free online parenting assessment that goes along with the material in the book.

As I flipped through some of the pages I liked that each day there is a new Scripture verse to inspire the parents. With the guidance of God and the book The Love Dare for Parents I know my husband and I will establish a greater relationship with each one of our children. While going through the dares there is an area after each lesson to write down your experiences, which I think will be helpful if you decide to do the 40 day journey again a few years later. I know as parents we all want to show our children unconditional love, a Christ-like love, so even if you are unsure about this book just download this free sample chapter and take a look for yourself. I will be reading and participating in The Love Dare for Parents with my husband and children. So keep an eye out for the review of our experiences while doing the dares.

I am delighted to host a giveaway of The Love Dare for Parents, one lucky reader will win a copy of their own. Use the Rafflecopter below for easy entries. US only.
