Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Review

If you're looking for a movie filled with comedy, dramatic scenes and is action packed then look no further then Guardians of the Galaxy. I had the pleasure watching Guardians of the Galaxy before it's national release and I left wanting more. Not in a bad way, it was a seriously AWESOME movie. I could see Guardians of the Galaxy over and over again. The whole 121 minutes of the movie kept my attention and had me anticipating what would happen next.

The main characters begin as misfits and end up being the Guardians of the Galaxy, they have a rocky start but it plays out well in this movie. The main character is Peter Quill/Star-Lord, then there is Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax. Each have their own unique back story that is explained throughout the movie. Star-Lord is played by Chris Pratt, Gamora by Zoe Saldana, Rocket by Bradley Cooper, Groot by Vin Diesel and Drax by Dave Bautista. You will also recognize some other actors and actresses but I'll let you find them on your own.

I really hate to give away the movie, I usually only tell my friends and family when I like a movie that it's worth going to watch. I also tell them that they do not want to wait for this one to come out on Blu-ray/DVD. So instead of coming up with my own synopsis I decided to use the one that was released by Marvel Studios.

Marvel Studios synopsis:
From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object
of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Thank you to Marvel Studios for releasing a movie that I actually want to watch more than once. I cannot wait to see it again! Also thanks to Disney for the information and photos and to Allied-THA for inviting me to the screening.
